Thoughts on Chatting in Cyber Land

I have chatted with many on the web, and I ask myself, "who are they really?" In Cyber Land you can be anyone, or be many personalities. You can be a"10" in cyberland, drop dead gorgeous, sexy, seductive, innocent, sweet, honest, hateful, obnoxious, the pretender, the stalker, the cheat, they can be a Angel, the Devil or both. You can be all those things and more.

The list is as endless as your mind will allow. You do not have to know the color of there skin, if they are rich or poor, you interact with people on a mind to mind basis. The mind is such a strong thing,it allows you to expand, to explore your imagination. The mind does allow you to feel in cyberland, and it allows you to trust sometimes more than you should.

Can you feel in cyberland? Yes you can feel anger, hurt, love, hatred, all the emotions of real life, if you let it. But the question still remains, who are they really? Some of us speak from the heart to people on the web, others speak from the life they wish to live, some just wish the need of friendship and a person who will listen to them, others just play"mind games", there are the wanderers, the lost souls of loneliness, desperately seeking the love or desires they can not find in the real life and last there are stalkers in cyberland so beware!

Does it matter, who they are? Yes, but just like going to Heaven or Hell, you just have to sort the good from the bad ones out. Such is life chatting on the Web. - Zenn 1997

I have friends all over the world that I have met on-line, and some have truly became my friends. The online world can be a great way to meet others and share ideas.

Eric a.k.a. CirE a.k.a. who knows? Eric you have been by my side, online for over 7 years now, and thank you Eric for you are a true friend in every sense of the word. You have taught me so much about being online, and have touched my life in real time. You are a special friend and I will never forget you.

To Don my partner in crime both online and real-time. It is such a small world isn't Don? To know a person or group of people in real time and then meet them online later on. Ironic that we will be re-united by a person neither of us has ever met except online. (yes Molly your the one)

Sharon meeting you here and online was fantastic. I wish you hadn't move to NY I miss you so much. But we still chat and talk on the phone. I love you babe!

Cindy, who is down to earth, big hearted and tells it like it is {smile} always, and Bonnie who is one special person and Rich in the United Kingdom, I wish you both happiness in your future together, and John, Hmm what can I say about John, fast, funny, smart, and yes "John", on-line you can be obnoxious as hell, but Hey we love you that way. Chip where ever you are I hope you safe and well.

Domie aka Loki Moki you are in my real life, it was great working with you in Hawaii. I also miss our lunch time chats online with the BBB I could hear you laughing in your office. Also getting to meet Cindy with you aka March Winds was wonderful. Days gone by... and above all we have manage to stay in touch via online.

Angela aka Angel I met you online and little did we know we lived two blocks away from one another in Hawaii. Strange wasn't it to know one another and then relized you were chatting online with them!

Rich aka Bama who taught me to laugh and type fast as a co-host on MSN Chat. Also Rich I do think I had the fastest draw on the ban button *grin

Kenji you have expanded my mind to a new world of art, and ideas. You are a most talented man, and one I am proud to call a friend. May all your dreams come true Kenji!

A big hello to all my chamber mates!! The list is long, and it will take another page to list you all. You are the most sharing and caring group of people, full of laughter, fun , occasional tears, and a deep sense of understanding. {hugs to you all} and thank you all for putting up with my singing in the Chamber.
